1. PROBLEM STATEMENT: To study the physical properties of any specimen (Mild steel) of any shape by preparing it with different processes like grinding, polishing and etching so that it will reveal all structural data representing that metal.
2. SPECIFICATIONS:
2 members from respective institutes are eligible.
3. RULES: 2 hour will be given to candidate to complete their task.
COMPETITION DETAIL:
ð TESTING
CONDITION: Smoothness of surface, structure that is
revealed and max. Information that will be obtained.
ð SCORING: Maximum marks will be given to candidate on structural
data obtained by candidates and also on other testing condition.
ð ELIMINATION
CRITERIA: Formation of disturbed Layer by over
grinding or any other process will lead to elimination.
ð ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA : Candidates pursuing with B.tech , M.tech or
P.hd in any stream and from any institute will be eligible
