IDP


Industrial Design Problem

This event is the ideal platform for engineering students to apply their skills and knowledge to come up with innovative and optimal solution to problems faced by the industry. You can't get any closer to the real-world working of an industry than this.


Rules and Regulations

1. The event comprises of two stages. Participants have to come up with a solution to the problem statements to qualify as a valid entry. An abstract in not more than 200 words should be mailed. Finalists will be intimated latest They will have to present their solution in the form of a 10 minutes long Power Point Presentation to a distinguished panel of judges.
2. The presentation should also include a list of references (including sources of statistical data that you may have used).
3. Economic consideration regarding the given problem must be mentioned.
4. Plagiarism, if discovered at any stage, shall lead to immediate disqualification. In other words you are allowed to improve someone's idea only if you acknowledge it, otherwise you will be disqualified.
5. The event will be judged by relevant Industry expert and their decision will be final and binding.
6. The judges are free to declare ‘No Winner’; if they find none of the solutions up to the mark.


Team Specifications

1. Maximum of two members is allowed per team. Participants from different educational institutions can form a team.
2. All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes can participate.



Certificate policy

Certificates of excellence will be given to all the winners.


Judging Criteria

According to problem, it will be decided by the concerned Industry Expert.
